Assurance Case Management with PREMIS

Assurance cases are used in many domains to manage and demonstrate system properties like safety and security. The right understanding of the argument structure is essential for its effective use. The main goal of the course is to provide skills to use proper and effective argument structures, develop defensible arguments, and review assurance case quality.

A 3-month PREMIS subscription without project limit will be opened for each training participant to enable independent work in the application. After the three month period, the user’s account will be converted to a free account, unless the user is covered by a paid subscription. A free account includes the right to edit only one assurance case project. If the user creates more projects during the subscription period, they will retain read-only access to those projects.
Prerequisites
- Basic understanding of assurance cases and their use would be useful.
- Basic knowledge of PREMIS functions would be useful but it is not required
Training time: 5 February 2025 (Wednesday), hours 9:00 – 16:00 CET / 8:00 – 15:00 GMT
Fees: Early registration until 22 January 2025: $420 or €400
Regular fee: $525 or €500.
